A: 1 GB is often defined as 1,000,000,000 bytes. GiB (Gibibytes) is a standard unit used in the field of data processing and transmission and is defined as base 1024 rather than base 1000.
Q: What is Transaction Per Second (TPS)?
A: Transaction-per-second (TPS) is a measure of the amount API traffic (request or response calls) that can be processed by the Apigee nodes in a given Apigee environment.
Q: Are there any limitation considerations to this calculator?
A: Yes. Customer needs may increase complexity and require consideration of product configuration limits found here. For example, 50 proxies per environment.
Q: Why do I want to add more regions in my environment? What is the impact of multi-region?
A: You may want to add additional regions for redundancy to lower latency for clients, scale beyond the limits of a single region, or keep data within a regional boundary.
